Leeds United’s summer can be summed up in one word so far: underwhelming. The club has signed just two players, both on loan from Chelsea and now their kit release has even failed to get people talking. Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping for some big results on the pitch otherwise this season could be over before it’s begun.

Whilst the kit itself is a nice design and has won the approval of a lot of fans, the atmosphere at Elland Road is drab at the moment. The fans don’t know what to do with themselves and whilst the club is failing miserably to bring in signings the fans are getting more and more frustrated with the way things are going. If the club hit the ground running in the season things will be different by at the moment that looks unlikely.
Some fans have noticed that the new home kit for the season looks uncannily similar to the one from the 2016/17 season, just with a difference in the collar. In defence of the club, though, when you wear an all-white home it there is little variation that can be made. Whilst the kit looks like that of two years ago, the fans will be hoping that the season is very different to that one as they aim for at least a promotion playoff spot.

Not sure where we go with home kits after this tbh

It'd look even better with some decent players wearing it… #lufc

I think the release is buffering. I saw this earlier.

Underwhelming is starting to look like an understatement as the Leeds fans just can’t seem to get excited about anything.
