Some players are cursed with horrendous injury luck, a lot of players have been denied the opportunity to fulfil their potential owing to setbacks and it looked like young Tyler Roberts would follow that path. A story in The Yorkshire Evening Post explains the young 19-year-old’s woes, although now back to fitness he’ll be hoping he can set the Championship alight this season.
“People can expect to see power and pace from me. And I’m positive there’ll be goals as well.” Tyler Roberts ready to show what he’s about after six months on the sidelines:https://t.co/cfx4ZLlV35

Everyone knows that Leeds fans are irate at the moment. The club are yet to make a permanent signing this summer and with the squad looking extremely thin it seems that Marcelo Bielsa is going to be relied upon to work miracles with a mid-table quality Leeds side. However, the fans will have one option they didn’t have last season in young Tyler Roberts, who spent last season sidelined with a cracked shin bone.
After signing from West Brom for £2.5 million in January the striker was thought to be coming in to share some of the goalscoring burdens. Unfortunately, he never got the chance to and now the fans will be looking forward to watching Roberts this season as if he’s a new summer signing. The striker’s raw attributes have pencilled him in as a potentially lethal striker, pace, power and an ability to find the net have set him apart from others at youth level and the fans will be optimistic about him as the Championship season approaches.

This lad was signed as a first 11 player, could be a real star for us. Need to watch his fitness esp next few weeks while he gets up to speed.

Be patient youngster. Long lay off will take time to recover ‘game’ shape. Remain confident, ignore the moaners (they will be there…) and show us all what you are about. Good luck lad.
