Marcelo Bielsa faced the press yesterday ahead of Friday’s trip to Hillsborough and the fans were loving his comments. The 63-year-old Argentine spoke about the game against Birmingham and the game against Sheffield Wednesday and the fans enjoyed listening to their gaffer speak.
Bielsa: "After the game we lost, we asked some questions together. We built our conclusions. We've had two training sessions where each player can express himself and the conclusions are positive ones. I have a lot of hope for the game on Friday." #lufc

Bielsa easily could have heaped the blame on his players after losing at the hands of Garry Monk’s Birmingham but instead, when the bus arrived, the only person he threw under it was himself. He claimed that he’d made mistakes in his tactics going into the clash and the fans have loved how he’s able to put his hands up and accept when he’s made a mistake.
Then the Whites’ boss was asked about Sheffield Wednesday on Friday and he was very honest as he claimed there would be no changes to the side who faced Birmingham. Some fans were less pleased with this news but ultimately they have full faith in Bielsa and will be expecting him to deliver a positive result to bounce back from the disappointment they suffered on the weekend. Friday’s clash is turning into a big one for the club and Bielsa will be desperate to deliver all three points.

Just reading comments like this makes me confident on Friday. Wednesday are at home so pressure is on for them to come out at us rather than park the bus, making it easier to exploit

This is exactly the sort of stuff a manager should do, the man is a god.

The Whites are buzzing for Sheffield Wednesday on Friday and will keen to do better than they did last Saturday as Bielsa attempts to get back to winning ways.
