The season so far has been a hit and miss one for The Whites. Marcelo Bielsa has won all of the fans over and he’s impressed in his start to life in the Championship, however, the club has stuttered as of late. After losing to Blackburn on Saturday, Kalvin Phillips claimed on the Leeds website that they weren’t good enough and now they’ll be keen to bounce back against Ipswich on Wednesday.

Leeds fans everywhere are confident that they can win the Championship this season. England’s second tier is a league they know very very well having plied their trade in it for longer than they would have wanted, but now they’ve got Bielsa they firmly believe that they can win the Championship and make a long-awaited return to the Premier League. For that to happen, though, they’ll need to improve on Saturday’s display.
Plenty of The Whites believed that they’d only need to turn up to blow Blackburn away, but that simply wasn’t the case. Even with Bielsa being given the boost of having some of his injured stars returning in the form of Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi, the result was a negative one. Now, though, it’s about looking forward and with back-to-back home clashes against Ipswich and Nottingham Forest, six points are all that the fans want.

It is important that we are good enough every match day. If not, we can forget about the big league.
