Leeds United will be hosting bottom of the table Ipswich Town later tonight as they aim to bounce back after suffering defeat against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Yesterday in Marcelo Bielsa’s press conference it was confirmed that Barry Douglas would be missing out, leading to a lot of fans calling for Ezgjan Alioski to start at left-back.
Barry Douglas won't play tomorrow, Jack Harrison will be involved against Ipswich. #lufc

Leeds fans were delighted when they signed Barry Douglas from Wolves over the summer and they’ll be keen to get the creative Scottish wizard back to fitness and in the first team as soon as possible. Leeds have been superb when they’ve had him in the side and when he hasn’t been available the likes of Stuart Dallas and Alioski have filled in, but for tonight’s match, it’s the Macedonian winger who the fans want at left-back.
Dallas has failed to impress so far for The Whites under Bielsa and playing him at left-back is far from a good idea in the eyes of the Leeds fans. However, with Ipswich being bottom of the league and scoring just 11 times in their 13 Championship matches, it looks like whoever does start will have very little to do. Alioski is the fans choice and with his ability going forward it looks like Bielsa will be forced to start him on the left of the defence.

The Whites want to see Alioski over Dallas and will hope that Bielsa can get back on track with three points tonight.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
