Leeds fans on Twitter wary after Bielsa’s comments on Blackburn defeat

Yesterday saw Leeds United lose just their second game of the season in the Championship. Marcelo Bielsa’s side fell to a 2-1 defeat at Ewood Park and the fans will be keen to see them bounce back as soon as possible, hopefully against bottom of the table Ipswich on Wednesday.

The season started really well for The Whites under Bielsa. The club were top of the league for a time and are still in the mix with an impressive 23 points from 13 games, leaving them just two points off of Middlesbrough who are 1st with 25 points. However, they could be top of the league had they been able to overcome a stern Blackburn yesterday in the Championship’s early kickoff.

After the game, Bielsa claimed that Blackburn were better in the 50-50s and that’s why they won. That has made for a grim statement for the fans, though, who are worried about their side’s lack of aggression when they play. The start of the season saw them turn over Stoke 3-1 and Derby 4-1 and the club looked like a force of nature since then, however, injuries have set in and they look a lot more vulnerable.

The Whites want to see more fight from their side in the future and won’t be happy with the way they lost yesterday.
