Leeds fans on Twitter were delighted with Klich’s Blackburn display

Leeds fell to their second defeat of the season yesterday in the Championship against Blackburn and it was a game to forget for the most part. However, for Mateusz Klich, it was another strong display and despite his goal, he couldn’t inspire his side to a win.

Klich’s leveller just before the break at Ewood Park had a lot of Leeds fans believing they could get something from the game. Blackburn fought back to win it in the end but the supporters can still be pleased with Klich as his goal took his tally for the season to four goals in 12 games. The Polish midfielder has been a key man in Bielsa’s midfield and he’ll be keen to help his side get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

When Klich was loaned out to FC Utrecht in January most of the fans believed his days at the club were over. That simply hasn’t been the case, though, as Bielsa has breathed new life into the 25-year-old and has given him a chance to be the player that the club needs at Elland Road. His goals and assists from midfield have been a revelation this season and if he can carry on chipping in with goals the way he has been then the fans are confident they’ll be back to winning ways soon.

The fans loved seeing Klich bag and will be keen to see him get another one on Wednesday against Ipswich.
