Leeds fans on Twitter were loving Jack Clarke during Reading win

Leeds United ran out 1-0 winners over Reading last night. The Whites claimed all three points via an opportunistic Stuart Dallas strike, and with a lot of top individual displays, Leeds fans everywhere were very happy with the win. Jack Clarke was one of those who impressed and fans took to Twitter to wax lyrical over the starlet after the game.

Leeds United are a club that should be in the promotion fight at the end of the season and could well be making a return to the Premier League next season, to do that though, they’ll need strength in depth across the campaign. Marcelo Bielsa has a very thin squad and his disposal and at times he’s had to throw in some of the club’s age group players in at the deep end, with Jack Clarke one of those who has shone in his opportunities at Elland Road.

The 18-year-old winger was brought off of the bench at half-time to replace the out-of-form Ezgjan Alioski and in his 45 minutes, he impressed. Bielsa will have been more than happy with the efforts of the youngster as he stepped up to make his 4th appearance of the season in the Championship. The winger has had fans calling for him to get a start as he continues to impress during his cameos off the bench and it looks like Bielsa could be forced to start him is Alioski’s form doesn’t improve soon.

Loads of Leeds fans believe that Clarke has a huge future, and they’ll be keen to see him get a start under Bielsa sooner or later.
