Leeds fans slate Alioski in response to Bielsa comments

Leeds United will be facing Sheffield United in the Championship’s early kick-off on Saturday and Marcelo Bielsa faced the press yesterday ahead of the clash. One of the things put to the Argentine was Ezgjan Alioski’s dive against Reading on Tuesday evening, and his comments led to a lot of supporters slating the Macedonian winger.

Bielsa was pretty clear that he doesn’t condone cheating in football and that he wouldn’t reward someone for cheating, which may well explain why he decided to substiture Alioski at half-time against Reading, just miniutes after the winger had put in an absolutely shocking theatrical display in an attempt to win a penalty, an act which saw him pick up a booking, and rightly so.

The Whites have now been calling for Alioski to be left out on Saturday for what promises to be a huge clash against Sheffield United. The supporters wouldn’t be against seeing Jack Clarke drafted in for the early kick-off on Saturday, even if it is a huge game that sees 2nd place take on 5th in a match that could shape the title race. Whoever plays on the left, the fans will just hope it isn’t Alioski.

The Whites want to see Alioski have some time on the sidelines and resting him this weekend would make sense.
