Leeds United fans must feel they are on the edge of a long-awaited return to the Premier League as Marcelo Bielsa continues to work wonders with his side.
Those promotion aims would have strengthened further by their win against West Bromwich Albion last Friday night, however, it appears the Elland Road fanbase could be jumping for joy a little sooner than expected.
What’s the News?
According to Adam Pope, Bielsa provided a significant update regarding Kemar Roofe and his recovery from injury, which will have delighted fans.

The Argentine revealed that the striker was ‘making good progress’ as he continued to work hard behind the scenes to recover from his knee injury.
The update from Bielsa and Pope will have come as some extremely positive news for Leeds and could also have a significant impact on their promotion aspirations.
Roofe has been a key player for the Whites this season, leading the club’s goalscoring charts with 14 goals in his 26 Championship appearances.
The 26-year-old was expected to miss around eight weeks when he originally picked up the injury, however, he has since been working hard in the gym and doing double sessions to try and get his body back in the condition it needs to be in for him to return to the pitch, per LUFCTV.
If Roofe is able to make a quicker than expected return to the first-team, it will take some of the pressure off of Patrick Bamford to find the goals and could be the difference between the club winning automatic promotion, or if they will need to go through the playoffs in what would be potentially three extremely challenging matches.
Leeds fans, how happy would you be to see Roofe back earlier than expected and leading the line to ensure the club continue with their quest to land Premier League football? Join in the discussion below by sharing your thoughts with us.
