Leeds set to name unchanged side for Derby County trip

Leeds United will be looking to build on last weekend’s performance against Stoke City when they travel to Pride Park and meet Derby County.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side outclassed and dominated the Potters last Sunday and the Argentine will be looking for a similar showing against the Rams.

In fact, according to a report on the club’s official website, the manager was really impressed with the display, he is expected to name an unchanged side as they look to get back-to-back wins.

However, it is understood that Stuart Dallas has been ruled out of Saturday evening’s trip to Derby, as he picked up a thigh injury.

He joins Adam Forshaw on the medical table, with the midfielder having to undergo an operation on his foot that is expected to make him miss around six weeks.

With Dallas being ruled out, Tom Pearce could make his way onto the substitutes bench and he will be hoping he gets a chance to make an impression on the field.

The Verdict:

Bielsa will be delighted that he can name an unchanged squad ahead of their Derby clash.

The manager was pleased with the performance shown by his squad in their opening match and will be looking for his team to get their second win of the season.

However, Frank Lampard’s side will not be an easy opponent, as they picked up a dramatic late winner against Reading last weekend and have been on a good run of form since the Chelsea legend took over.
