Leeds United will be looking to extend their advantage at the top of the table when they welcome Birmingham City to Elland Road on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are sitting at the summit of the Championship eight games in and will look to extend the gap between them and the rest of the chasing pack to four points.
The Yorkshire outfit are coming off the back of a 3-0 victory against Preston North End and Bielsa is in a position whereby he could use the same team to try and get a result against former Leeds boss Garry Monk.
Adam Forshaw could push for a starting place in the side following time out from a foot injury that required an operation.
However, the Whites will still have a number of key players unavailable for the visit of the Blues, with the likes of Patrick Bamford, Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi all still unavailable through injury.
Leeds will be looking to keep their unbeaten record in the Championship going when they meet strugglers Birmingham City on Saturday at Elland Road.
And, Bielsa’s side will have the perfect opportunity to record their seventh win of the campaign as they are in the fortunate position of being able to select from a squad with no fresh concerns.
The Argentine will be looking for his side to continue their current run of form for as long as possible, as he will hope his team will still be in a great position in the table when all his players make a return from their respective injuries.
