Leeds United will return to Championship action on Friday night when they host Derby County at Elland Road.
The Whites are on a run of three defeats in all competitions and Marcelo Bielsa will want to see an improved performance from his side.
Leeds recorded an impressive 4-1 victory against Frank Lampard’s outfit last time out, however, the Rams have significantly improved since the second game of the season.
Pablo Hernandez is thought to be a doubt for the game as there are concerns regarding his fitness.
The Spaniard is struggling to overcome a thigh strain and could join the likes of Patrick Bamford, Izzy Brown, Stuart Dallas, Gaetano Berardi and Barry Douglas on all on the sidelines.
However, Bielsa does have some potentially good news with Liam Cooper thought to be available for the game after missing the last seven through injury.
The news that Hernandez is a doubt for the game against Derby will be concerning for Bielsa and Leeds.
The 33-year-old has been an influential figure for the Whites this season, having scored seven goals and providing seven assists in his 19 Championship appearances so far.
Leeds will need to be at their very best to beat Derby on Friday night and a win at this crucial stage of the campaign could prove to be valuable for them.
