Leeds United closing in on new manager

ellandroaddddddThe Leeds United fans who are gathered around the jukebox in The Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that the club are closing in on a new manager.

The Express (citing reports from Italian outlet Stop and Goal) are reporting that the Championship side are eager to appoint current Crotone head coach Ivan Juric as the club’s new manager for next season.

The 40-year-old Croatian is the club’s number one choice and his current side’s promotion to Serie A has convinced Leeds owner Massimo Cellino that he is the man to lead the club’s charge to the Premier League next season.

A current director at his current club has all but conceded that the manager will leave the club if Leeds come calling, despite their still being no decision made over the future of current Leeds boss Steve Evans.

The Leeds fans in The Tavern are not convinced that Juric is the right man for the job and don’t understand why Cellino is not going to stick with current manager Steve Evans, over yet another tried and untested recruit.

Our landlord has to agree with the Whites fans here in the Tavern, and feels the Yorkshire club is in desperate need of some stability!

Leeds fans….. What do you make of this news? Would you like to see Juric at the club? Let us know below!
