Leeds United manager’s job in jeopardy after Cellino intervention

Steve EvansThe Leeds United fans playing in a pool tournament in the Football Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that yet another manager could be set to leave the club.

The Daily Star is reporting that Steve Evans’s job at the club is under increased scrutiny following reports that club owner Massimo Cellino is making half-time trips to the dressing room, to change tactics.

The appointment of Evans was a controversial one from the fans point of view but most were willing to give him a chance, upon his arrival at the club Evans stated that it was him who picks the team, and the day that stops he will leave the club.

If Evans does get relieved of his duties he will be another manager who has failed to please Cellino, who has not been shy when it comes to dispensing of his chosen leader.

Leeds have had a disappointing campaign to date and lie in 18th place in the Championship, heading into Thursday’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Leeds United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are concerned that the club look set to swing the axe again, even though they never really wanted Evans in the first place they think he is being treated unfairly by the owner!
