The Leeds United fans are gathered at the jukebox selecting some tunes in The Transfer Tavern and discussing reports that a winger is set to be given another chance.
The Yorkshire Evening Post is reporting that Jordan Botaka will be given a chance in the first team again before the season is out.
A string of fine performances for the Under-21’s and an improved attitude towards training has impressed Steve Evans who criticised the player just last month following the players performance against Cardiff City. Speaking about Botaka, Evans said:
“We’ve looked at Jordan, who I was critical of before, and he’s suddenly producing performances on the training ground. They’re making me say we have a player here’.”
Botaka joined the club during the summer and has made just 10 mostly unimpressive performances for the Championship side this season.
The Leeds fans in The Tavern are willing to give Botaka another chance and want him to take this last chance with both hands and show them what he is all about.
Leeds fans, does Botaka have a future at your club? Let us know in the comments below!
