Leeds: Fans discuss Jack Harrison’s continuing improvement

Leeds United earned themselves another three points at the weekend as they kept their foot down on the throttle in this season’s promotion race from the Championship.
The Whites have started this season particularly well and now head into the final international break with their tails up.
Certainly, after the next couple of weeks, we’re getting into the nitty-gritty of the league campaign where hopes are either enhanced or dashed in the festive period and Whites fans will hope they have enough to get themselves into the top two for the final run in the New Year.
Certainly, they have plenty of players doing the business at the moment, with Jack Harrison showing real signs of improvement in recent years:
Jack Harrison has now been directly involved in as many goals this season (7) after 16 league games as he managed throughout the entirety of last season (7) in 39 matches.
Six of those seven have come in his last six appearances in 2019/20. 🔥🔥 #LUFC pic.twitter.com/nefC3h3DOd

Let’s take a look at some of the reaction to these numbers on Twitter, as the winger looks to try and defy his recent critics:
Yes. Leeds have an option to buy Harrison at the end of the season.

Criticised for what he might achieve (could have had a hat trick today) rather than praised for what he does achieve. Wholehearted player. Easy to see why Bielsa likes him.

Took a while but looking like a winger of a top championship side, the numbers are getting better and there’s still potential to be deadly 👍🏼

All he needs now is better crossing and be more consistent

Imagine how good he’d be if he could beat a man

Fantastic stats from Jack, hopefully he can maintain that form!

If he had an end product on a regular basis he would be up for the ballon d’or 😂

A good start for the winger, and there could be plenty more to come.
