Marcelo Bielsa reveals trio in contention to face Blackburn

Leeds United will return to Championship action with an away trip to Ewood Park on Saturday where they will meet Blackburn Rovers.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be looking to take all three points and go back to the summit, whilst also putting pressure on the other teams around them to get the points needed later in the afternoon.

And, according to a report by Leeds Live, it appears the Argentine and the Whites will have been handed a timely boost ahead of the game.

Bielsa has confirmed that Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi are all available for the clash in Lancashire and will all be in contention for the game.

“Roofe, Pablo, Berardi, these three players are fit,” he told Leeds Live.

The Verdict:

Leeds will be delighted to have the trio back available for selection ahead of their lunchtime kick-off against Blackburn.

The three men have arguably been some of the side’s best players so far this season and will give them an added confidence boost heading into the game.

Roofe’s availability will be one that fans will be delighted with, as the Whites have not looked as clinical without him in the team, whilst Hernandez will help to provide the creative threat with Berardi adding some quality to the backline.
