Mowbray confident Dack will be available for Reading visit

Blackburn Rovers will take on Reading at Ewood Park on Wednesday night as they look to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship.

Tony Mowbray’s side have yet to taste defeat so far in the second-tier of English football and is looking for his side to build on their victory against Hull City last weekend.

According to a match preview by Sky Sports, the manager is confident that he will have Bradley Dack available for the clash with the Royals after he suffered an injury during the victory on Saturday.

The midfielder netted the only goal of the game, however, he faces a late fitness test following a knock he received to his foot.

Derrick Williams is thought to be the only absentee for Mowbray’s side as he struggles to recover from a foot injury that he picked up in training, otherwise the Ewood Park outfit are close to a fully-fit squad.

The Verdict:

Blackburn will be looking to build on the momentum they received from their win against Hull and a match against Reading could help them.

Their opponents are yet to pick up a point in the Championship and Mowbray will feel that it could be an ideal time to try and get another three on the board for his side.

The Ewood Park outfit will need Dack to be available, however, if they were to have a real chance of getting something from the game and time will tell if he is able to feature for Rovers at all on Wednesday.
