The Newcastle fans in the Transfer Tavern are delighted by their team’s form and, if this carries on into next season, who knows how well Rafa Benitez can do with a few improvements as well.
The Spaniard is up their with one of the best managers of the season, taking a really average Newcastle side and allowing them to play with freedom and in the last few matches. Indeed, since the turn of the year, their form is among the best in the league. After a drop in form, the Magpies made sure of Premier League survival and went on a brilliant run of form, proving hard to score against and deadly in attack.
Loanee Kenedy has made a big impact since his January move from Chelsea but should Newcastle fail to make this a permanent signing, Andreas Pereira, on-loan at Valencia from Man United, would be a brilliant replacement for the Brazilian.
Pereira, who is valued at £6.75 million on Transfermarkt, has been impressive in his 27 Valencia appearances this season and with 5 assists under his belt also, the Brazilian is a tricky player with a huge potential ahead of him.
Having been neglected from Manchester United for many years now, Newcastle could make them rue that mistake by acquiring Andreas Pereira and allowing him the freedom to perform to the best of his capabilities.
Andreas Pereira has always been spoken about as a player with a lot of potential and Newcastle would do well to prize him away from Old Trafford permanently. A player who can provide bags of excitement in wide areas, the punters propping up our bar would certainly be on board with his arrival.
