Newcastle remain winless in the Premier League and hope is quickly fading away on again finishing in the top ten, now fans are worrying more about relegation.
Last season was a particularly hard one for Newcastle as for months they battled against relegation. Just suddenly though, every player brought out their best form and miraculously, they finished 10th.
Mike Ashley was promising to back Rafa Benitez financially this season as his brilliant work earned Newcastle the right to be mixing with the top ten of the Premier League but when he didn’t deliver, the Spaniard had to settle for transfers he didn’t necessarily want.
In January though, Ashley and Benitez have to work together to acquire the right targets and one of those should be Salzburg’s Hannes Wolf.
Wolf, (who is valued at £3.6 million on Transfermarkt) has proven over the last 12 months especially, that he is a brilliant footballer in the making and Newcastle would be lucky to get their hands on a player of his ability.
At just 19, Wolf has played an instrumental role in allowing RB Salzburg to reach the Europa League semi-final and winning the Austrian league. With his age in mind, his career so far has been pretty decent.
Moving to Newcastle though would not only give him the chance to play in a far superior league, but he also has a massive stage to strut his stuff and show everyone what Hannes Wolf is all about.
So far he has six assists to his name as well as one goal but if he can get near to the 12 goals and eight assists he provided last season, Wolf will quickly be moving on up to bigger and better things.
