It’s a hectic time for Newcastle United fans here in the Transfer Tavern who are still dreaming of the Premier League, which is looking like a serious possibility right now!
Under Rafa Benitez, the Magpies have had a superb season in the second-tier and that hard-work looks to have paid off, with an instant return to the top flight looking likely.
And one man that could be joining up with the rest of the Magpies squad this summer is Nottingham Forest midfielder, who, according to the Sun, might be heading to St James’ Park in the coming months.
Osborn is Forest’s star man and with League One football hanging over everyone at the City Ground, the lure of the Premier League might be too much to turn down for the 22-year-old.
The Geordie end of our pub seem to think they’ve got enough quality in the middle-of-the-park but should they make the Premier League, it’s set to be a long season and Osborn’s quality might give them that something extra going forward.
Newcastle fans, a good addition or not good enough for the top-flight? Leave your thoughts below!
