Nottingham Forest have not started their Championship campaign too well. After having a very busy summer transfer window, they have failed to live up to their expectation so far.
Manager Aitor Karanka was brought in to hopefully guide The Reds towards the play-offs, or even a guaranteed promotion place, as owner Evangelos Marinakis clearly wants to see his club in the Premier League.
With one win, four draws and one loss from six games, The Reds are currently sitting in fourteenth place in the Championship, and fans are beginning to grow restless.
With so much money spent, the pressure on the manager to perform is huge. We asked Forest fans whether they still had confidence in their Spanish manager and this is what they voted:
The results show that 60% of fans still have faith in their manager to produce for them this season. Whilst that is still a majority, that means there are still a lot of discontent fans at The City Ground.
With 40% of fans losing faith in their manager, they will make their voice heard. That is not a sign of a club that is in harmony.
If we put it this way, Forest had an average attendance of 24, 680 last year; 40% of that is 9872. That is a lot of fans that will want their voices to be heard.
If Forest’s poor run continues, that 40% is only going to increase, and fast.
