Nottingham Forest are looking to secure their 17th signing since the end of last season, by finalising a deal for Iran international Karim Ansarifard.
Manager Aitor Karanka is remaining coy at the moment, with rumours swirling that the forward will be joining The Reds after being released from his contract at Olympiacos.
Nottingham Forest have struggled up front so far this season. New signing Lewis Grabban has failed to replicate the form he showed for Aston Villa last year, and to make matters worse, Daryl Murphy and Hillal Soudani are currently out injured. That is why the acquisition of Ansarifard could ease Forest’s problems they’ve had so far this season.

Despite the promise that Ansarifard brings to The City Ground, the deal does not inspire many fans, with a 50/50 split.
Whilst some fans are confident that the Iran international can help their team, some still feel their problems run deeper and cannot be remedied by this player.
