Nottingham Forest preparing for managerial shake-up

Nottingham Forest supporting punters in the Transfer Tavern haven’t had a great deal to shout about this season and sit 19th in the Championship with just three wins from their 15 games so far.

If reports on the Sports Mole are anything to go by a defeat on Friday evening to Derby County could spell the end for boss Dougie Freedman, with ex-Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson earmarked to replace the Scotsman.

The Reds have scored just two goals in over ten hours of football and in recent weeks certain sections of the Forest faithful have been vocal with their desire to see Freedman removed from his position.

One Forest fan is awaiting his Fish and Chips from the Tavern’s award-winning food menu and thinks Pearson would be a coup for the Reds.

He said: “He would be a much shrewder appointment than that of Freedman. He knows all about the Championship and could be a really big appointment for Forest.”
