According to Leeds Live, 20-year-old Leeds left-back has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

Both Everton and Bournemouth are interested in securing the signature of the England under-21 international in January, in a move that he should take.

Not only was Pearce a member of the Everton academy before he joined Leeds, and therefore it would be a return to his former club, but he is not getting any chances for The Whites this season.

New manager Marcelo Bielsa clearly does not look upon the 20-year-old favourably, only playing him twice in the Championship so far, including subbing him on and off in the same game against Nottingham Forest recently.

With the injury of regular left-back Barry Douglas, it looked as though the 2018 Toulon Tournament winner would get more playing time. However, it appears that the Argentinian manager still does not trust him enough to deputise for the Scot.

Therefore, if Pearce is getting no playing time with Leeds, he might as well look elsewhere. Of course, it is unlikely that he will get much more game time with a Premier League club, but it's probably better for his development to be on the fringes of a club in England's top division, rather than the division below.

Furthermore, whilst there is a good chance that Leeds may be in the Premier League next season, it is certainly not guaranteed. At least he would have made his way into the division by securing this move in January, and will be able to work from there.
