It would appear that there is not a week that goes by that can be considered free of drama at Leeds United.
And, it does not appear as things are about to change for The Whites as one reliable journalist may have just released some potentially concerning news to fans.
Phil Hay, who works for the Yorkshire Evening Post, took to Twitter to provide the information he had regarding Marcelo Bielsa and whether he would stay at Elland Road beyond the current campaign if they were not promoted.
And, it does not make for good reading.
people very close to him in Argentina said when he took the job that he’d only stay on for a second year if Leeds were promoted. I don’t know what he’s thinking now but that was the message.

Hay wrote that “people very close to him in Argentina said when he took the job that he’d stay on for a second year if Leeds were promoted. I don’t know what he’s thinking now but that was the message.”
Hay has admitted that is what he had heard at the time and, obviously, a lot can change during the football season and one thing that may have done so is Bielsa’s stance on what he wants to do in the future. Hay has admitted that is what he had heard at the time
At the moment, there does not appear to be too much to worry about either, with the club in a strong position to return to the Premier League.
‘El Loco’, as he has been dubbed before, has become a cult figure at Elland Road and fans will be desperate for him to remain in the dugout for as long as possible.
