The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their 26-year-old right-back, Luke Ayling, as he tweeted a picture of the club’s arrival in Myanmar ahead of their controversial post-season tour. Leeds owner, Andrea Radrizzani organised the tour to help grow his company, Eleven Sport, who already have contracts in Singapore and Thailand.
Great welcome from the people of Myanmar today. pic.twitter.com/8LoD3QBkj5

There’s been a lot of talk about Leeds post-season tour. The destination of Myanmar is particularly controversial, given the political climate over the last year that has seen the genocide of thousands of Rohingya Muslims killed. However, the tour went ahead and the Yorkshire club will be playing two friendly games during their time in the Far East, as well as holding coaching sessions for local children.
When looking to purchase tickets for the tour, Leeds fans were advised not to travel to the country given the recent atrocities, although it hasn’t stopped The Whites from going ahead and travelling, putting themselves and the fans who elected to travel, in danger. The club ended the season on a high note, beating QPR 2-0 at Elland Road after a shocking second-half of the season saw them drop from 6th to 13th.

You’ve gone down in my estimation-do anything for money eh? Hope you sleep well supporting ethnic cleansing-you know how most fans feel
