After the news broke last week that QPR forward Ebere Eze has been called up to the England under-20, fans have taken to Twitter to show their delight.
The 20 year old has been one of the star players for QPR this season, scoring three goals in 12 appearances, and fully deserves national recognition. He spent half of last season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers but has become a mainstay at Loftus Road this term.
The fans clearly are overjoyed with this news, with some believing that he should be in the under-21s squad or even the first team. While the second option may have been tongue in cheek, it is a plausible suggestion for him to play for the age group higher.
This is what the fans had to say:
Well deserved. Let's hope he is played in his strongest position

Well deserved @EbereEze10 Show then what you can do, but most importantly, get your head down and hopefully greater things will come in the next few years
