The Whites struggled to ensure consistency during the second half of the campaign as they ended up finishing in thirteenth position. So, there’re plenty of improvements to be had over the course of the summer, with many of our local residents expecting a number of quality signings.
Of course, the summer transfer window will be of huge importance to Leeds United after witnessing their poor campaign. So, with other Championship clubs strengthening in preparation for a possible promotion push, the Whites will need to do exactly the same.
Therefore, Andrea Radrizzani needs to tell the newly-appointed Marcelo Bielsa to watch the World Cup closely later on this month, as Leeds may be able to bring a couple of international stars to Elland Road this summer

Mame Biram Diouf
Mame Biram Diouf’s current club Stoke City suffered relegation to the Championship this season, so he may be looking to move away this summer.
Indeed, the striker was named in Senegal’s 23-man squad for the World Cup later on this month in Russia, with a number of goals in the competition possibly helping him attract interest from other clubs.
Leeds United are on the hunt for a striker this summer after struggling for consistency at the pinnacle of their attack, so Bielsa should look no further than the Senegalese international, who managed to score six goals and provided three assists this season.
The left-back currently plays for Italian side Torino, where he managed to produce three assists and scored one goal this season.
Indeed, the defender was named in Argentina’s 23-man squad for the World Cup later on this month, so it might be a good idea for Leeds to keep tabs on the 31-year-old throughout the competition.
Sadly, the Whites struggled for consistency down the left-hand side of defence this season, as Tom Pearce was the only player that really stood out in that position at Elland Road. So, Marcelo Bielsa should look to bring Cristian Ansaldi to the club this summer, as he would provide healthy competition for the youngster in the next campaign.
