Leeds United have been one of the standout performers in the Championship this season as they continue to work towards securing promotion to the Premier League.
The Whites managed to secure all three points against Wigan Athletic last time out in what was a very impressive performance from Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Interestingly, Leeds United will travel to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion in their next Championship fixture. The Baggies also have their sights set on securing promotion to the Premier League and have been one of the most dangerous sides in the division this season, so it won’t be easy for the Whites.
With that in mind, Marcelo Bielsa must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO Leeds United stars…
Samu Saiz was reduced to the substitutes’ bench for last weekend’s game against Wigan Athletic due to his poor form and lack of contributions in the side recently.
However, Ezgjan Alioski failed to have any desired effect as very little came from him out on the left-hand side, and it was left to others to make Leeds tick.
So, Bielsa should look to bring Saiz back into the side for today’s game against the Baggies, as he has the ability to unlock any defence on his day and will be in a fierce battle with Harvey Barnes.
Adam Forshaw was a huge disappointment during his first season at the club, but he has certainly come on leaps and bounds in the current campaign under Marcelo Bielsa since returning from injury, as one of the standout performers for the Whites in recent times.
Indeed, the central midfielder’s display last time out against the Latics gave Mateusz Klich the freedom to cause problems in behind Kemar Roofe, so Bielsa must keep his faith by rewarding him with another start today.
