Nottingham Forest have started the season well and remain in hope that they can push for promotion this year, due to the new lease of quality in the team.
The Championship is an extremely hard division and one that potentially takes years to escape from, as Nottingham Forest have found out the hard way. The once successful Forest look to have made progress in allowing themselves to be just that again this season as they’ve brought in a host of exciting talent that could give them the cutting edge to gain promotion.
A player who has started well to life at the City Ground is West Ham loanee Sam Byram, who is valued at £3.6 million on Transfermarkt.
Byram struggled to sustain a place in the West Ham first team and although he played well on a number of occasions, injuries were the main reason behind his demise with the Hammers. Now though, the right-back seems to have a new lease of life with Nottingham Forest, running freely up and down the right-hand side, even providing a great assist on debut.
The Englishman knows what he is doing both going forward and helping to defend and if Nottingham Forest can keep him fit, they have a quality player on their hands. The 24-year-old is an experienced Championship player, having been a key player for Leeds for four seasons. West Ham signed him off the back of his quality performances but now Forest have the chance to reignite his career and it seems to be paying off in the showings he has produced so far.
Will Byram be a success at Forest, should West Ham have kept him… Let us know!
