The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing their manager, Paul Heckingbottom after he spoke to the media today ahead of the club’s meeting with Ian Holloway’s QPR at Elland Road this weekend. The Yorkshire club have been in shocking form in 2018 with just three wins since the turn of the year after the sacking of Thomas Christiansen back in February.

The last game of Leeds season is at home to Queens Park Rangers and whilst both teams have nothing to play for other than a 13th place finish in the Championship. Next season, the Leeds fans will be hoping for a more positive year after this season’s disappointment. Despite the club being top of the league for two weeks in September and still holding onto 6th throughout the festive period, they’ve now dropped to 14th and are left fighting for nothing.
The fans have put that down to Paul Heckingbottom. The former Barnsley man was given the job after Leeds lost 4-1 to Cardiff in late February, Thomas Christiansen was sacked following the game and in the 16 games since the Whites have won just three games. The lack of an impact that Heckingbottom has had since his appointment has been a definite cause for concern amongst the fans, with many of them looking forward to his departure, whenever it may be.
You can see what the local Whites have been saying about their gaffer here:
I really hope it’s his last…. I’m sorry but he’s so uninspiring

I get depressed listening to Heckingbottom for 10 minutes imagine having to listen to him 6 days a week, no wonder Saiz and Pontus wanted to leave.

Paul, you need 10 new players at least…Make them all watch Man City games… Tell them they need to play like them…they need to run around, close down and have some flair……
