Sheffield United will welcome arch-rivals Sheffield Wednesday to Bramall Lane on Friday night when the two sides meet in the season’s first Steel City Derby.
The Blades are currently on a patchy run of form, however, they currently sit in third place in the Championship and know a win against the Owls will take them to the top of the division ahead of Saturday’s fixtures.
Chris Wilder will want to see his players up for the task and will have been delighted to have been able to deliver some huge news ahead of the game.
“We’ve got everyone fit and raring to go. There is nobody in the treatment room and we’ve trained at full speed all week,” he said.
Having everyone fit and available for the Sheffield Derby is a hugely positive boost for Wilder and his team.
The Blades will head into the game knowing that they can go top of the Championship and will want to continue their fine season at the expense of their arch-rivals.
Wednesday are not in the best run of form at the moment, something the Blades may look to capitalise on their current situation.
