Sheffield Wednesday will head to The New York Stadium on Saturday as they meet South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United.
Steve Bruce’s side will be looking to keep their good form in the Championship going, as they remain unbeaten in their last four matches.
And, it appears that he has been handed some positive news heading into the game against the struggling Millers.
According to a match preview by the club’s official website, Tom Lees is in contention to return to the team.
The club’s captain has been on the sidelines recently with a shin injury and has missed the last two matches, which were both goalless draws against Reading and Millwall.
Bruce will have also had the positive news that he has no other fresh injury concerns heading into the South Yorkshire derby.
The fact that Bruce has no fresh injury concerns and that Lees is available for the game will come as positive news.
Sheffield Wednesday appear to have tightened up at the back following his arrival to the club, however, goals at the other end may be of concern, as they have only scored once since he has been in the dugout officially.
The Owls appear to be heading back in the right direction and the Hillsborough outfit will want to see that continue against Championship struggling Rotherham on Saturday.
