Sheffield Wednesday will look to build on their victory in midweek when they travel to Ewood Park and face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls ended a run of six games without a win when they beat Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday, easing the pressure slightly on Jos Luhukay.
The Yorkshire outfit will now be looking to use that game as a changing point of their season as the schedule kicks into overdrive, with fixtures coming thick and fast.
Steven Fletcher had to be forced off early in their win against Bolton after complaining of dizziness in the first half.
Luhukay has revealed the Scotland international will be assessed ahead of the game, with a decision unlikely to be made until the last possible moment.
The Owls will definitely be without Ash Baker for the trip, as the defender picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in midweek, subsequently suspending him for the match against Blackburn.
Fletcher’s potential absence could be a huge concern for Sheffield Wednesday as they look to build on their recent victory.
The Scotland international, who is valued at £1.8million by Transfermarkt, has been in good form recently and offers them a real attacking threat going forward.
However, should he be unavailable, Luhukay could look to call upon the likes of Fernando Forestieri or Lucas Joao to lead the line and try and bring the three points back to Hillsborough.
