Sheffield Wednesday return to Championship action on Friday night when they host Middlesbrough at Hillsborough.
The Owls will be looking to return to the form they had displayed prior to the international break, which saw them occupy the final place in the playoffs.
However, they will face a tough test against a Boro side who themselves have been playing well and sit amongst those at the top of the ladder.
Both Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher were forced off the field in Wednesday’s last fixture, however, both men have been deemed fit for the game.
The Owls will though be without Fernando Forestieri after he picked up a hamstring injury in training and is expected to miss the next couple of weeks.
Luhukay and Sheffield Wednesday will be pleased to be able to welcome back Fletcher and Bannan to the team for the upcoming game against Middlesbrough.
Bannan has been excellent for the Owls this season and with both having not featured in the international break, it could add some freshness to the side, despite having just recovered from injuries.
Forestieri’s late injury will have come as a blow to the Hillsborough outfit, as the 28-year-old had been starting to get back to his best after a poor start to the campaign and Luhukay will be hoping his attacker is not out for too long.
