Sheffield United team news: Wilder has no fresh concerns

Sheffield United will be looking to keep their great start to the Championship season going when they meet Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Wednesday.

The Blades currently sit fourth in the league and will be looking to build on their impressive win away at Millwall last weekend.

And, according to a match preview by Sky Sports, Chris Wilder will be pleased to have the same squad available for their away trip to Lancashire.

Despite having no new fresh injury concerns, the manager could look to keep his Blades squad as fresh as possible and could make changes to his starting line-up on Wednesday.

Kean Bryan could be involved for the Bramall Lane outfit as he stepped his recovery from an injury setback and made an appearance for the Under-23s.

Wilder will be without Jake Wright for the game as he continues to recover from a broken cheekbone and a back complaint he suffered earlier in the campaign.

The Verdict:

Sheffield United will be looking to continue their fine start to the season, however, Blackburn could cause them some problems on Wednesday.

Wilder will be pleased that he has no new concerns ahead of the game and that Bryan and Wright are making their way to returns in the imminent future.

United will know a win will help them to keep up the pace on the Championship leaders and they will be looking to replicate last weekend’s performance once again.
