Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to their play-off semi-final second leg tomorrow night against Huddersfield.
The Owls have been going along well this season and find themselves two wins away from the Premier League – something all their fans want to see them achieve.
Indeed, it is testament to the hard work Carlos Carvalhal has done this season to help the side get over their play-off final loss last year but it seems as though his job could be at risk even so.
Indeed, that is according to The Daily Mail at least, who reckon that regardless of whether the Owls go up or not this season, Alan Pardew could come in to replace Carvalhal.
This news, then, would certainly be eye-opening if it was to happen and our landlord as well as our Owls punters here by the bar would definitely be shocked if it was to occur.
Indeed, the Owls’ fans are unsure whether they’d be happy with this and so this story could create some problems for the club.
