Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to continue their fine form when they meet Leeds United on Friday night.
The Owls have been performing well in the Championship recently and Jos Luhukay will want his side to continue those displays in their Yorkshire derby.
The Hillsborough Stadium outfit will feel that they have an edge over the Whites, as they won the last meeting 3-0, although they will be aware Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be looking to bounce back from a defeat to Birmingham City last weekend.
Jordan Thorniley is available for selection once again for the Owls as he had missed out on last weekend’s win against Aston Villa with a calf injury.
Fernando Forestieri could also make his first appearance in three league matches as the forward has completed his three-match ban.
Luhukay will want to see a solid performance from his side as they face the Championship’s early leaders.
The Owls will be able to take the momentum from the Aston Villa game with them, as they were behind in the game, and will be hoping Leeds’ setback against Birmingham will continue to haunt the Whites.
Forestieri and Thorniley’s returns will be a boost to Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night, although it remains to be seen if Luhukay puts them into the team from the start.
