Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Nottingham Forest in midweek when they meet Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls were on a good run of form prior to their Championship defeat to the Tricky Trees and Jos Luhukay will be looking for a reaction from his side when they travel to Villa Park.
The young defender picked up an injury to his calf the last time out and was forced to leave the field, with Luhukay hopeful that he will make his return to the side next week.
His absence could mean a first start for Michael Hector, who joined from Chelsea on loan just as the transfer window was closing.
Fernando Forestieri will complete his three-match ban, whilst the likes of Kieran Lee, Gary Hooper and Joost van Aken all remain unavailable through injury.
Sam Hutchinson returned to training earlier this week, although the Owls could leave him out of the squad this weekend, whilst Steven Fletcher will be pushing for a starting place after scoring their only goal in midweek.
Sheffield Wednesday will be looking for a better team performance at the weekend after a poor showing saw them get beat in midweek.
Luhukay has a number of players unavailable for the match against Aston Villa which will not help his side’s efforts, although it could be the perfect chance for Hector to impress.
Fletcher will also be looking to have a positive impact, and should he be involved, he will be looking to add to his tally for the season with a goal in consecutive games.
