Stoke City supporters have been pretty upbeat in recent times after seeing their side get back to winning ways in the Championship in midweek.
Gary Rowett’s men went into their meeting with Swansea City on Tuesday night off the back of drawing 2-2 with Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, thus leaving them with only one victory from their opening seven league games. Yet the Potters doubled that tally at the bet365 Stadium earlier this week as a Joe Allen strike 12 minutes into the second half was enough to secure a narrow 1-0 win for Rowett’s side, a result which thus moved them up to 17th place in the Championship table.
Consequently, there have been many thrilled Stoke fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been reacting to a recent post from the club’s official Twitter handle, which has asked them how they think right back Cuco Martina has performed this term.

The 28-year-old made the move to the bet365 Stadium on loan from Premier League side Everton during the summer after falling down the pecking order at Goodison Park, yet he has since started Stoke’s last four Championship games to suggest that he is first-choice at the Staffordshire-based outfit.
And that is something that hasn’t gone down particularly well with some Potters supporters on Twitter, with many responding to the question asked by the club on Twitter by calling for 26-year-old right back Moritz Bauer to return to the starting eleven…
Would like Bauer to have a chance

Fairly resentful due to the way Bauer has been treated, nice tweet to rub his face in it too! That being said, not Cuco’s fault

Welcome to stoke city. Hope Bauer gets plenty of games.

Some subtle attempt at manipulation of public opinion at work, me thinks, give how shoddily Moritz Bauer has been treated by Rowett. Cuco is okay, but was he really needed with Bauer already here? Couldn’t the loan place/wages been better used to bring in a 3rd winger? #SCFC
