Our Nottingham Forest fans here in the Transfer Tavern certainly cannot wait to see what the new era at the club is going to herald at the moment.
The Reds have seen some serious changes at the top level whilst Mark Warburton is still bedding in as manager and so there is an expectation that 2017/18 could yield some bright results.
Certainly, that is what many of the fans want and the club certainly seems to be making the right noises at the moment.
Indeed, incoming Chairman Nicholas Randall has delivered an open letter to the supporters – via the club’s Twitter account – and the reaction on the social media site has been pretty positive:
