These Leeds fans slate Ezgjan Alioski during 2-1 win over Wigan

Leeds United travelled to Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon in a fixture which allowed them to return to the top of the table following a convincing 2-1 victory.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men go marching on while exuding a level of confidence which suggests they are here to stay. In previous seasons Leeds’ promising early form has eventually fizzled out, but it seems incredibly unlikely that the Argentine will allow that to happen.

Indeed, the scoreline may not suggest that Leeds were particularly dominant but in truth they looked comfortable against a Wigan side who were missing a handful of key attacking players.

Pablo Hernandez played yet another starring role in attacking midfield and Kemar Roofe continued his fine goal scoring form, but another unwanted theme persisted for the Whites: the unconvincing form of Ezgjan Alioski.

Alioski has been forced to play at full-back in recent weeks in place of the injured Barry Douglas, but Douglas’ return saw him return to familiar territory on the left-wing.

But Alisoki struggled to bypass his opposite number and the supporters were frustrated with a rather tepid performance from the Macedonian.

Alisoki has featured in every single of Bielsa’s starting line-ups so far this season but, with Jack Clarke knocking on the door for a starting berth, it may not be too long before he is replaced by the teenager.

Here’s what the Leeds fans had to say about Alioski’s performance today…
