Barring Ipswich Town, Sheffield Wednesday have conceded the most goals in the Championship this season.
In truth, things have improved since Steve Bruce and his management team took over at Hillsborough, however, the defence is certainly an area of the squad that needs some major improvement this January.
Both Alexander Milosevic and Efe Ambrose have been linked with a potential move to The Owls, however, when comparing the two men, who comes out on top?
The Sweden international is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract at AIK and has been touted with a possible move to Sheffield Wednesday.
Just 26-years-old, the defender has already played for a number of club’s within Europe’s top leagues, giving him some great experience that could come in use for Bruce and his side.
However, there may be some concern about Milosevic as he has not been able to hold down a regular place wherever he has gone.
He has seen a number of contracts and agreements terminated early on several occasions which will surely leave some questions.

As is Milosevic, Ambrose is also a free agent after deciding to trigger a clause in his Hibernian contract allowing him to leave – with Sheffield Wednesday interested.
The Nigeria international has plenty of experience to offer and has played at some of the highest levels during his career.
Most notably, the 30-year-old starred for Celtic between 2012 and 2017 before a loan spell at Hibs turned into a permanent move and featured in the Champions League.
Bruce appears to have always preferred to have an experienced man in defence, especially when he was at Aston Villa – with both John Terry and Christopher Samba in his ranks last season.
TT Grade B+
Both players are very experienced and would help to improve Sheffield Wednesday defensively as they look to get better in the Championship.
However, when taking all the factors into consideration, Ambrose would slightly edge the battle between Milosevic and himself.
The Nigerian has plenty of knowledge of playing at a higher level, including having played in the Champions League and a World Cup in the past.
Ambrose would also appear to fit the mould that Bruce seems to like, which would make him a great addition at Sheffield Wednesday.
