Sheffield Wednesday appear to have turned things around over the festive period as they are currently on a five-game unbeaten run.
Owner Dejphon Chansiri decided to part company with Jos Luhukay in December and has recently appointed Steve Bruce to try and take the Owls back into the Premier League.
Things would certainly appear to be exciting at the moment for the Hillsborough outfit, however, is the new boss the man to help Wednesday achieve what they could not under the Dutchman?
The recently-appointed manager has only been out of work for a couple of months, having been dismissed from his role at Aston Villa.
Although he started to struggle to produce the results at Villa Park before his sacking, Bruce has plenty of experience at the Championship level and his proven record will surely speak for itself.
The 58-year-old has won promotion to the Premier League four times in his career so far and arguably is the type of manager a club of Sheffield Wednesday’s stature deserves to have at the helm once again.

Luhukay was appointed by Chansiri in January 2018 and almost lasted a year in the role with the Yorkshire outfit.
However, with the majority of managerial dismissals, results and performances had started to become concerning and fans had started to voice their concerns about how things were going.
The Dutchman saw his side have a real patchy run of form, with the club looking quite solid at times, whilst fragile at others.
Having replaced Carlos Carvalhal, he failed to bring the desired aims of promotion to the club that the Portuguese manager had almost achieved with back-to-back finishes in his first two years at the club.
TT Grade: C+
Luhukay certainly did not have the best of times to try and achieve the heights Chansiri wanted to reach with Sheffield Wednesday, however, he may have just made the best managerial appointment of his tenure that could make the Dutchman forgettable.
Bruce is a proven manager at the Championship level and will provide the Owls with some experience and leadership that they could prove to be valuable.
It remains to be seen if he can bring Premier League football back to Hillsborough, however, Chansiri has surely picked the right man to help them achieve that.
