The summer has been one of dismay for the most part with Leeds United, however, if there’s one man who’s done a superb job in calming the frantic Whites down, it’s been Tyler Roberts. The 19-year-old’s pre-season displays have impressed a lot of fans and after he came off after 38 minutes in the club’s friendly against Guiseley, the fans went into panic mode.
Tyler Roberts is fine and was only subbed after 38 minutes of last night's friendly with Guiseley with a view to Sunday's final friendly against Las Palmas which will be the really interesting one. No injury. Shin fine. #lufc

Fortunately, young Roberts is absolutely fine and had an ice-ack on his shin as a precautionary measure after being subbed early. The teenage goalscorer will want the club to be very careful with him as the season approaches. After he signed from West Brom back in January and was diagnosed with a cracked shin bone he’ll always have one eye on his long-term fitness and it looks like the club is managing that well.
The Whites will be playing at Elland Road on Sunday against Las Palmas as they end their rather boring pre-season tour having played friendlies against Forest Green, York City, Southend United, Oxford United and Guiseley over the last couple of weeks. Roberts will be integral in the interesting friendly fixture against Las Palmas and it will be a good indication of whether or he can cut it in the Championship or not if he can put the Spaniards to the sword on Sunday.
