The Nottingham Forest fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that Danny Fox has penned a new deal with the Nottingham club. The Reds will no doubt be delighted to hear the news as the club’s Twitter post broke the news of Fox’s renewal, posting a link to the Nottingham Forest website for more details.

The former Southampton and Burnley man has only made 16 appearances in the Championship this season but broke into the squad in mid-January and hasn’t missed a minute’s action in the club’s last 12 games. The defender has been deployed as both a left-sided full-back and as a central defender and the Forest fans will be delighted to see that he’s now committed his future to the club for the 2018/19 season.
Fox only needs to make one more appearance for the City Ground faithful to reach 100 appearances for the famous club. He’ll be hoping he can mark what’s likely to be his tonne away at Middlesbrough with a win to end the club’s four-game drought without a victory. Forest lost 2-0 to Millwall last Friday after three successive goalless draws and the club sit 17th in the Championship, although they’re well clear of the drop zone.

That's good news, just hope there is a clause in it that expresses he can't ever play left back again.
