Vastly experienced manager wants Leeds United job

MoyesLeeds United fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered around the jukebox discussing reports that an experienced top flight manager is very interested in taking over the top job at Elland Road.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that David Moyes would be willing to make the move to Elland Road should Steve Parkin be successful in his attempts to buy the club.

Parkin is currently in talks with current owner Massimo Cellino with regards to buying the club, after the Italian put the club on the market.

Moyes, who was recently sacked by Spanish side Real Sociedad, was thought to be holding out for a job offer in the Premier League but has admitted he would take on the job at Leeds– though¬†only if he gets the funds to successfully challenge for a place in England’s top flight.

The Leeds United fans in The Transfer Tavern are excited with news, but as fans of the club they know that nothing is simple under Massimo Cellino and will wait until a deal is complete before getting carried away.
