West Brom will surely be inclined to delve into the transfer market when it opens in January and recruit players who will help their promotion bid.
Whilst currently occupying 3rd place in the league, the Baggies will feel the need still to invest, to make sure they gain promotion at the first attempt of trying after relegation last season.
The Championship has proven, for many years, to be a challenging division to escape from and already West Brom have stumbled over some testing games.
West Brom currently have a sound strike-force in Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle, yet with another goal-scorer added into the mix, they could fancy their chances at promotion even more.
Matej Vydra has found adapting to the Premier League with Burnley hard due to a lack of game-time and West Brom should therefore try and get him on loan in January.
Vydra, who is valued at £9 million on Transfermarkt, is a Championship goal-scoring expert, having proven just that time and time again.
With 22 to his name last season, he earned a move to Premier League side Burnley, where since, he has played nine games in all competitions.
Vydra has scored twice despite his lack of real chances with the Clarets but with a move to West Brom and back down into the Championship, he could restore his confidence once again.
A move would surely be a good idea for all involved and if Matej Vydra can refind his goal-scoring touch, as well as West Brom having options like Rodriguez and Gayle, they could be heading back to the Premier League in no time.
